The pointed tips get into corners my old rounded ones couldn't reach, and the sponges themselves haven't shed at all after a few weeks of use. Nice that you get two of each shape in the pack, so I'm not stuck ordering again right away.
Wasn't sure I'd bother replacing these instead of buying a whole new tool, but swapping the pointed tip back on took ten seconds and it glides just like it did out of the box. The four-pack means I've got backups for the rounded ones too whenever they wear down.
Having both the pointed and rounded tips in one pack means I don't have to switch tools mid-project anymore. The pointed ones get into tight corners way better than I expected.
